Easy Spinach Quiche Recipe

I love a hearty breakfast dish, especially ones that are easy. Throw the ingredients together and something magical emerges when it it is done baking. You’ll need a glass pie dish for this recipe.

Spinach Quiche Ingredients

  • pie crust
  • cheddar cheese
  • Swiss cheese
  • eggs
  • 2% Milk
  • 13.5 oz. can spinach
  • red or other mild onion
  • Roma tomato

How to Make Spinach Quiche

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare crust according to package directions.
  2. Sprinkle cheese on pie crust.
  3. Mix eggs, milk, spinach, and onion; pour mixture evenly over cheese.
  4. Top with slices of tomato.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes until set, or a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. Remove spinach quiche from oven and let stand 10 minutes.

  • 1 cup 2% Milk
  • 13.5 oz can spinach very well drained
  • 1 slice Red or other mild onion diced
  • 1 Roma tomato thinly sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Prepare crust according to package directions.
  • Sprinkle cheese on pie crust.
  • Mix eggs, milk, spinach, and onion; pour mixture evenly over cheese.
  • Top with slices of tomato.

I love quiche. I make a spinach quiche too, but I never thought of putting red onion in it. Yum!
