Anderson Farms Fall Festival 2015
I received free tickets to Anderson Farms in exchange for this post as a member of US Family Guide Moms Connect. All opinions expressed herein are my own.
Anderson Farms is now open for Fall Festival! I have been going there yearly for a few years now and it has quickly become my favorite place to go to celebrate Fall. In each of my previous posts, I have highlighted different aspects of Anderson Farms. There really is so much to tell you about. You can read them here and here. This year I am going to highlight some new things.
They have a new kiddy maze this year called Punchin’ Pumpkins.
You hit the Start button and try to punch the buttons on the pumpkins inside the maze. It’s a lot of fun for kids and helps them burn off a little energy.
This year we also did the Farm Scene Investigation maze game.
This game is in the Upper Maze, which is the smaller maze. You find the different clues inside the maze to determine whodunit. It took us probably an hour with following the maze map.
You can’t go to Anderson Farms without visiting the pumpkin patch. It’s legit. You actually have to cut (or tear) the pumpkins off the vines.
The gift shop is so cute. Besides all the food goodies I purchase, they have hand made quilts, Christmas ornaments, signs, fall decorations, and more. I’ve never really paid attention to the shop itself, but don’t forget to look up! Lots of cute decorations to see.
I ended up with pumpkins, guards, kettle corn, banana bread, chocolate chip banana bread, Mango Habanero Salsa, Black Bean and Corn Salsa, Jelly, Jam, Mustard….I couldn’t help myself. They added so many items this year and they are all delicious!
We ate in the cafeteria this year instead of from the BBQ place outside. It is very organized and neat and they have a variety of food to choose from. This is another place to check out the decorations above.
Anderson Farms is located in Erie, Colorado. If you get lost, just look for the giant pumpkin silo. For more information, visit their website.
