Every year I have to make revisions, mostly additions, to my beauty routine due to normal changes that come with age. The latest fun change is that the hair on my upper lip is turning dark. I don’t know about you, but when a woman has dark hair on her upper lip, I can’t stop looking at it. Even though my lip hasn’t gone full Burt Reynolds yet, I notice it in the mirror and it bothers me. Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. So how do I get rid of unwanted facial hair or hide dark hair? Shaving is not an option because I don’t want hair to grow back thicker and darker. I’ve tried at-home wax kits and they don’t work. Threading is painful, or so I’ve heard. Laser hair treatment is expensive. I was unsure about bleaching, but thought I would give it a try. My trouble area is the corners of my lips as you can see in the picture below. I used the Creme Bleach to lighten the hair and it was very easy to use. You mix the two ingredients with the utensils provided and smear across the hair. The instructions advise only leaving the cream bleach on your body for 10 minutes. I made sure enough time had passed before rinsing off the creme bleach. Not really knowing what to expect, I am delighted with the results! No more dark hair!
