Columbia Crest Crowdsourced Cabernet

I posted in August about the Columbia Crest Crowdsourced Cabernet and Executive Crowdsourcing Officer Voting. Everything about this wine is decided via public voting. It is truly made by and for the people!

Everyone from casual drinkers to wine aficionados joined in winemaking by voting on how the grapes were tendered, irrigated harvested and blended through weekly votes. Voters had access to weather analytics, season-by-season data, past data and time-lapse camera shots down to the individual grape along with expert advice from Columbia Crest head winemaker JuanMuñoz-Oca. They really make you feel like an expert!

Efforts for the Columbia Crowdsourced Cabernet are continuing now that the blending process has begun. The public had the opportunity to vote on how earthy the vintage should be and how much silkiness the wine should have.
