Denver Food Truck Wednesday – Manna From Heaven

Last year I was introduced to something absolutely glorious. Food Trucks. Hello, you beautiful metal boxes on wheels. Last summer I started a new job on the 16th floor of a building in the Denver Tech Center. I like to stare out the window at the cement jungle around me and one day noticed food trucks across the street at the DTC Hyatt hotel. After searching on the internet, I discovered there were scheduled appearances for the food trucks. No way was I going to miss an opportunity to stuff my face with the mouthwatering dishes concocted by the geniuses behind the wheels of these trucks.

Manna From Heaven

Manna from Heaven can’t be missed in its bright blue shell, and serves Vietnamese-inspired cuisine. The Manna Naan Wrap is a perfect conglomeration of meat, vegetables, and fruit. Naan is the leavened, oven-baked flatbread that encompasses the delectable filling – fresh greens, pickled daikon-carrots, cucumbers, tomato salsa, mangoes, and cinnamon-mango soy sauce, topped off with fresh herbs. There was so much, I actually didn’t know how to eat it. It was a combination of fork, eating with my fingers, shoveling into my mouth, licking off the table, and picking off my shirt. It was the most divine mess I’ve ever eaten.

Don’t miss another food truck opportunity in Denver. Visit Food Truck Row for a calendar of appearances.
