Evereve Trendsend #5 Review – February 2016

Evereve Trendsend #5 Review – February 2016

Trendsend #5 Review

Evereve Trendsend is a styling service for women, specifically geared towards moms. What makes them different than other styling services is that they put together a few outfits for you, instead of just sending you individual pieces. Even thought I am not a mom, I can’t resist this box every month. The clothes are so comfortable and cute! The clothes are definitely not “mom” clothes. These are hot and trendy items that are versatile for any working woman.

Trendsend just changed their policy. You are now charged $20 every month as a “styling fee.” This then gets applied to any purchases you make from the box. Before, you did not have to pay anything up front.

Outfit #1
Elan Asymetric Raglan Sleeve Pullover – $58
Free People Wild Roses Racerback Bra – $29.99

Kut From The Kloth Diana Skinny – $54.99 (sale price!)

Elan Assymetric Raglan Sleeve Pullover

First, I would never purposely wear a bra with the intention of showing it off. This bra is also not padded, so I was not a fan. Normally I am all about the loose fitting sweaters, but I was not digging this. I hate asymmetrical clothing as it does not flatter my figure at all. The material was not as comfortable as it looked.

And look how high that slit is. Nope. I would be forced to wear a tank under this. The only good thing about this first outfit was the pants.

Kut From the Kloth Diana Skinny

Can I get an Amen for Kut from the Kloth jeans?! They are my favorite! I had to send these back, though, as I already own them! But what a deal with that sale price tag.

Outfit #2
Press Striped Tunic Dress – $58
Kut From the Kloth White Denim Jacket – $89

I hate stripes. Mostly. I hate all over stripes. I have wide hips, so I don’t need to draw attention to those. I’m not a fan of tunic dresses. I am more of a fit and flare kind of girl. I need a more structured dress to hide my midsection. This jacket is okay, but it is short. And I already own it.

I can see this being cute with leggings, but the problem is the length. I kept pulling it down. It rides up very easily. However, the material was amazing! It felt great.

Outfit #3
Billabong Saltwater Short Kimono – $59.95
Free People Long Beach Tank – $20

Gem Tassel Necklace – $28

Billabong Saltwater Shore Kimono Trendsend

I am kind of liking the pattern on this kimono, but I feel like I am drowning in it. Maybe that’s the point of a kimono, but it’s just not my style. The tassel necklace is also not my style as I don’t like crystals/gems.

The black tank was nothing special, but I kept it so I wouldn’t lose my $20 styling fee.

It seems that the stylist changes with every box I get, as I’ve never had the same stylist twice. Unfortunately, Vicky missed the mark on this one. I feel like she did not read my style profile very well. This is the first time I sent back virtually everything. But I’m all about saving money. 🙂 Hopefully next month will be back to normal, as I have really loved getting Trendsend every month.
