Ivanabitch Flavored Vodka Review

Summer is almost here! Which means it is time to start working on my mixology skills so that I can create yummy, flavorful mixed drinks to serve guests at all the pool parties I’m going to be hosting. I got to try two flavors of Ivanabitch Vodka: Dutch Apple and Whipped Cream. I have had apple flavored vodka before, but never even heard of whipped cream vodka! I opened them right away to smell them, and they smelled absolutely delicious! I couldn’t wait to get started.

I’m sure I could have come up with many amazing mixed drinks, but I’ve been wanting to try “drunken cupcakes” for a while. So I decided to make two kinds of cupcakes with the vodka: Blue Velvet with Whipped Cream Buttercream Frosting, and Caramel Apple.

For the blue velvet cupcakes, I only put vodka in the frosting that I made. It was really easy!

Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp whipped cream vodka

Directions
1. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
2. Add vodka, one tablespoon at a time. (Add more or less depending on your desired consistency.)

The frosting on both of these cupcakes was absolutely amazing! You really get the flavor of the vodka without it tasting like alcohol.
