Mojito Mocktail Recipe with Vintage Sparkling Water

Vintage Sparkling Water

It is HOT here in Denver and I am in dire need of a refreshing beverage! I had the funniest experience at King Soopers trying to pick up some Vintage Sparkling Water. I meandered over to the beverage aisle and looked high and low. Of course, the sparkling water I was looking for was on the bottom shelf hidden behind a ginormous stack of other beverages sitting in the aisle. Right up against the shelves. Who does that? But I was determined to get my Vintage. Luckily I spotted it peeking out from the side of the obstacle. It was easy to recognize with it’s colorful packaging.

As you can see, it usually retails for $3.99. Vintage Sparkling Water is available in 6 flavors: Cucumber Melon, Lime, Lemon, Original, Pink Grapefruit, and Coconut. It is naturally flavored and calorie free! For more nutritional facts, click here. I picked up a case of the Lime flavor.

If you want to skip the cost of alcohol and the calories, making a mocktail is the perfect substitute! I decided to make a mojito mocktail called the “Nojito.” All you need is Vintage Sparkling Water, limes, fresh mint leaves, and ice. Sugar is optional.

Mojito Lime Mint

First, I took several mint leaves and put them in my glass. I used a muddler to break them up just a bit to release the flavor. If you prefer smaller pieces of mint in your drink, feel free to chop them with a knife. I cut the lemon in half. With one half I made lemon slices and with the other half I peeled the rind to put into my drink. Add your lime sparkling water with crushed ice and stir. Add sugar if you like a sweeter drink.
