You may have seen my review on the Nesco 4-in-1 Pressure Cooker and I’m excited to share another great Nesco product with you: the Reversible Grill & Griddle. This picture of my pancakes would never have come out so perfect if it wasn’t for my Nesco griddle. I’ve never had a griddle and always make pancakes in a pan. The problem with a pan is that the sides of the pan make it hard to get the spatula under the pancakes to flip them without smearing the batter everywhere. Look at this griddle, no smear!

The Nesco Reversible Grill & Griddle is so easy to use. You just place the cooking plate on the drip tray base and plug it in. You can choose heat settings of low, medium, or high depending on what you’re cooking. The instruction manual says to allow 7-10 minutes for the plate to heat up, but in my experience it takes only about minute to heat up, a little longer for the high setting. My pancakes have come out perfect every time! The manual also includes a nice chart for various foods, proper heat settings, and cooking time for those foods.

The grill side is just as impressive. The ribbed plate allows juices to drain away from the food. This means you can also grill more than one food at a time. Grilling chicken and veggies? No problem! I also love that you can make the crisscross markings on burgers with the ribbed grill. Makes my burgers look just like my dads. 🙂

Another great feature is that the handles stay cool at all times. The nonstick coating on the plate makes it incredibly east to clean as well. Just wipe it down and voila! So much easier than cleaning a greasy pan or outdoor grill. I may never use a pan again! I ended up using the Grill & Griddle almost every day for two weeks because it is so convenient. There would be family members wanting to use the griddle side for hamburgers, but I would win out because I love pancakes and I would be making my favorite blueberry pancakes on this griddle. I have always wanted a griddle like this one!

Good question!! I would say the griddle would be used year round, especially for breakfast pancakes! BUT, in the winter (when we can not grill outside), the grill side would be used more 🙂

I need one of these. I don’t know which side I would use more. I make a lot of homemade pancakes & french toast, so this would be nice as it would take less time because I could fit more on this. But I also would use the grill side a lot too. I make burgers, pork chops, brats & lots of other meat that I grill, so it would be so nice for that especially when I can’t grill outside. I could really use one of these, this would be used a lot.

I would choose the griddle because of all the possibilities such as pancakes, omelets, quesadillas, small meatloaf bars only to name a few of which come to mind. While the other side would also be used but not as often as griddle.
