Paleo Apple and Cranberry Sausage Stuffing

Paleo Stuffing

Thanksgiving is the one day of the year wear I shamelessly stuff my face full of delicious foods. Who can resist turkey and gravy, rolls, stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie? Not me! If I had to pick my favorite Thanksgiving food item, it would be stuffing. Which is funny, because the stuffing I love doesn’t actually get stuffed in the turkey.

So what makes a good stuffing? Well I like mine not very mushy, a little crunch, and a ton of flavor. And if you are looking for a guilt free stuffing, look no further than this paleo stuffing recipe.

This paleo stuffing can be made in advance and just heated up before serving and doesn’t actually involve stuffing a turkey. If you intend to stuff it in the bird, do not bake it in the oven. Just stuff the content of the skillet inside the cavity of the bird and let it slow bake in the oven.
