Product Review Disclosure

I have posted before about Try The World subscription box and snack box. They have now released Pantry, a great addition to the Try The World family. Pantry lets you enjoy culture and other countries while filling your kitchen with essentials. Unlike the other monthly boxes, Pantry is customized to your needs and likes, based on preferences you set. Every box includes 5 items based on your Taste Profile. It costs $29.95 per month, but you can save money by subscribing for 3, 6, or 12 months at a time. Every box comes with free shipping.

Here is everything I received in my Pantry box:

Liss Ellas Special Strong Mustard – $7.90
Dari Couscous – $6.40
Merico Maria Rosa di Cansiglia Extra Virgin Olive Oil – $5.07
House Foods Medium-Hot Vermont Curry – $3.90
Pastificio dei Campi Spaghetti – $8.90

Total Value = $32.17

I always say the real value in these boxes is being able to experience different cultures and foods without travelling or paying international shipping. I think the value of this box, cost wise, is exactly where I like to see it. It is definitely worth the monthly cost.

pastificio-dei-campi-spaghetti

Spaghetti is absolutely a staple in my home and I love that I now have legit pasta from Italy.

You can’t be a real Italian without a shelf just for olive oil. I have never seen olive oil in a container like this, so I’m interested in trying it.

A love dipping a pretzel stick in a good mustard, so I’m really happy to see this gold medal winning mustard in my box!

This curry sounds amazing. Sauces are a staple in my pantry, because they make for easy meals. Just cook some meat and throw a little sauce on it, and your good to go.

dari-couscous

Couscous! Not only is it delicious, but it is fun to say. Couscous. Couscous. Actually, I can’t say it without thinking of Kuzco from Emperor’s New Groove. Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh!

What did you think of the Pantry box? It is in beta mode right now, meaning it is in the first stages. You can still sign up! I hope it sticks around, because I think it’s a great concept for Try The World!
