Santa Belly Oreo Cookies

Ingredients

1 package of Double Stuf Oreo Cookies
2 Bags of red candy melts
4 tsp coconut oil
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
4 C powder sugar
red, ivory, black, and golden yellow food coloring
5 disposable piping bags, fitted with a number 2 tip
1 cookie sheet fitted with parchment paper

Directions

Using a double boiler, melt the candy melts until smooth
Mix in the coconut oil to thin out the candy melts
Using a fork, dip in the Oreo cookies until fully coated
Place Oreo cookies onto a cookie sheet and let dry for an hour
While Oreo cookies are drying, using a standing mixer, combine egg whites, cream of tartar, and powdered sugar on medium speed until stiff peaks form, about 7 minutes
Split the icing into 5 bowls
Leaving one of the bowls white, add in a color to the remaining 4 bowls
Scoop frosting into each bags
Once Oreo cookies are dry, using the ivory icing pipe Santa’s belly and fill in

Using the red icing, pipe a line around the edge of the Oreo cookies and around the belly of the Oreo cookies and fill in

Using the black icing, pipe on a thick line above Santa’s belly from the belt of Santa’s suit
Using the yellow icing, pipe on a yellow square in the center of the black line
Using the ivory icing, add a dot in the middle of the belly for the belly button
Using the white icing, add white dots above Santa’s belly for the fur on his suit

Let stand for another hour for the icing to dry before enjoying.
