Slow Brewed Iced Green Tea

Slow Brewed Iced Green Tea

Summer is almost here, which means I get to enjoy my favorite cold drinks again! Lemonade, iced tea, margaritas, sangria, punch, and more! But this also means I will be working on my bikini body. I’ve always heard the phrase “Don’t drink your calories!” Most drinks don’t have any nutritional value. But you can still enjoy a cold beverage without “wasting” calories.

Organic matcha green tea gives you energy, boosts metabolism, and has 137 times the antioxidants of brewed green tea because it contains the entire tea leaf.  You can add a teaspoon of green tea powder to your favorite drink, or brew it alone. Add sugar, agave nectar or honey for sweeteners. Try ginger or lime for a tart finish.
