For this fix, I requested colorful clothes for Spring, and shoes! Stitch Fix just started offering shoes and I have seen some really cute styles. Britt styled me again this month. I have a trip to Vegas coming up at the end of the month, so I told myself I would only buy something if I absolutely loved it and it wasn’t too expensive.
Skies are Blue Atilio Cut Out Detail Top – $58 [RETURN]
I think this shirt is beautiful. Just the right amount of print and the flowers look painted. The cut out details is also very pretty and covers bra straps pretty well. I was torn about this shirt and I really had to think about. The conclusion I came to was that I never wear cutout tops because I hate trying to make sure my bra strap is hidden. I would never reach for this in my closet, except to admire it. So, I am returning it.
Skies are Blue Diane Eyelet Dress – $64 [RETURN]
To be honest, I didn’t even try this dress on. I can’t do all white. Also, it looks like an adult-size baptismal gown. But the very first thing I noticed when I held it up, is that it is awfully see-through, despite having two layers of fabric! I will never wear something that requires me to strategically wear layers to make sure you can’t tell it’s see-through. Shirts are easy because at least you can just put a tank top underneath it. Dresses are more difficult. Do I wear bloomers? Do they make bloomers anymore? I guess I could find a slip to wear, but then you have to make sure you have the right length. Too short and it rides up. Too long and it will show when you bend or sit. Too. Much. Work.
Market & Spruce Accio Cold Shoulder Top – $58 [RETURN]
This style was fun, but the shirt was too tight across my chest, causing it to not fall properly on my shoulders. I also hate this print. I do love blues and navy, which is why I think my stylist sent this to me. Again, I have an issue with bra straps showing. I would wear a nude bra underneath this shirt and I think that would be sufficient.
Market & Spruce Alan French Asymmetrical Zip Cardigan – $68 [RETURN]
I already regret returning this, but I couldn’t justify the cost. It is a win, win, win though. I love the style. What sells it for me is the drape. My boyfriend also loved it, which is a plus. It is also pretty light, so I could wear it in the Spring.
I do have a very similar sweater in another color that is a thicker material. So for now, it’s going back. But I will be on the lookout for this! I want it. I need it.
Miz Mooz Serafina Slip-On Sneakers – $59 [RETURN]
I love this style of shoe! Slip-ons are so comfortable. I always pack them when I go to visit my boyfriend because we walk around a lot. Unfortunately, they did not fit. Here’s why:
I have wide feet. It is a nightmare trying to find shoes in my true size. Brands just don’t offer shoes in different widths. Now, when Stitch Fix said they were going to offer shoes and told me to update my style profile with my size, I immediately new I was going to choose 9.5, even though that is not my true size. My true shoe size is 9 Wide. To my astonishment, in the style profile you could choose Wide! So I set my size to 9W. Now if you have wide feet, you know this means a regular size 9 will not fit my feet. Like, I can’t even get them on. And I was sent a regular size 9. If you have wide feet, you have to size up to fit in regular width shoes. Of course, there are exceptions to that rule. Any shoes that wouldn’t constrict my feet (i.e sandals, flip-flops, strappy shoes), I can wear a regular size 9. Who knew feet were so complicated. Geez Louise. This is a long winded rant about my wide feet, but the result is this. I changed my size to 9.5 (regular width) in my style profile because I will have more luck with this size.
So that was my fix! What did you think?

I love the shoes. I got the floral ones in my fix. I'm a solid 8 no wide width. My stylist stated they run small so she sized up 1/2 size and way too small. Sizing up 1 1/2 sizes and praying they fit

I agree with everything you said! I'd love to try the cold shoulder shirt though. I have no chest to make it tight! Haha!!

I loved the first floral tank. But I understand why you didn't keep it.
