Trendsend April 2017 Review

Trendsend April 2017 Review

After I accidentally scheduled two Trendsend boxes in May, I was considering skipping this month. I ended up liking more pieces that anticipated, so I spent more money than I had budgeted. But, this is one of my favorite styling services and I didn’t know how to say no!

What is Trendsend?

Evereve Trendsend is a styling service for women, specifically geared towards moms. What makes them different than other styling services is that they put together a few outfits for you, instead of just sending you individual pieces. The clothes are so comfortable and cute! Trendsend only charges a $1 processing fee! Pay for the items you keep and send the rest back. If you discover that an item is on sale in the Evereve store or is marked down on the tag, just send them a note and they will adjust the price!

What’s In My Box This Month

I had two stylists this month! That has never happened before but let’s see what Chelsea and Amy had to offer.

Outfit #1
Suzette Collection Spider Criss Cross Tank – $28 [Return]
Billabong Heart Strayed Dress – $58.95 [Return]

Kut From the Kloth Mia Skinny Jeans – $89 [Return]

Billabong Heart Strayed Dress

This dress is super comfy and can be worn with leggings or jeans. I love the color [navy is my homeboy] and the floral print.

This criss cross tank is really cute but it’s not really my style to show off my back.

I love me some Kut From The Kloth jeans! I already have these and they are soooo comfortable.

Outfit #2
BlankNYC Whisper Denim Jacket – $98 [Return]
Z Supply Lace Up Camo Dress – $49 [Return]

BlankNYC Whisper Denim Jacket

How many white jean jackets do I have to send back before they stop sending me white jean jackets. *exasperated sigh* I don’t wear a lot of white and I definitely don’t wear white jean jackets. I especially don’t wear the short ones that stop above right at or above your wait.

Z Supply Lace Up Camo Dress

This dress is flowy and fun, but it does nothing for my figure. I need a fit and flare style dress. But, this dress does have pockets! Amazing! Other than the fit, I do like the camo and the lace.

Outfit #3
Free People Long Beach Tank – $20 [Return]
Tolani Palma Floral Kimono – $78 [Return]

Able Drape Front Dress – $68 [Return]

Tolani Palma Floral Kimono

This kimono is really cute!! I love the colors and how light the material is. I just don’t see myself wearing them. I feel so big in them. I also have this tank in another color so I returned both items.

Tolani Palma Floral Kimono

The next item is a black dress, and I don’t know why it was put with the kimono and tank as an outfit.

I had a lot of trouble with this dress. I don’t know why I couldn’t figure it out. I put it on and thought it looked meh. Then I realized… I was wearing it BACKWARDS.

This was not my morning. After trying on clothes that I didn’t really love, I was ready to throw in the towel. Then I realized this would actually look cute if I wore it CORRECTLY. Then I spotted something you never want to see in clothes that are sent to you.

Yep, that’s a hole in the seam. Looks like I’m packing it all up and hoping May is a much better month! [To clarify, I know it’s June 1st, and I’ve already received and photographed my May box, I’m just a little behind, mm kay? ;)]

I always look forward to getting new outfits to try on every month. You can sign up for Trendsend HERE.
