Trendsend October 2015 Review

Trendsend Styling Service

Evereve Trendsend is a styling service for women, specifically geared towards moms. What makes them different than other styling services is that they put together a few outfits for you, instead of just sending you individual pieces.

I have been subscribing to Stitch Fix for a while, which I love, but they only send 5 items. Sometimes I want more variety to choose from. And it helps me to see and try on whole outfits so I know how to style each piece of clothing. So I decided to give Trendsend a try. Now, I am not a mom, but I don’t think you have to be to try Trendsend. The clothes are definitely not “mom” clothes. These are hot and trendy items that are versatile for any working woman.

Evereve Trendsend

Evereve is actually a physical store too! There is one near me, so when I saw the package was being prepared, I wanted to run to the store to intercept it.

Free People Shila Hacci – $68 [Return]
Kut From the Kloth Diana Skinny – $89 [Keep]

Kut from the Kloth Diana Skinny

I had only heard of the Kut from the Kloth brand due to Stitch Fix, but for some reason they don’t send me jeans. So when I tried this on, I immediately fell in love and understood the cult following. These jeans are amazing! They are the perfect amount of stretchy to fit over my larger calves, which usually give me problems with skinny jeans. TAKE ALL MY MONEY!

Free People Sheila Hacci

While I love the style and color of this top, and how it goes so well with the grey jeans, I sent it back for budget reasons. I just got the estimate for my car repairs and it’s going to be more than expected, of course!

Outfit #2
Petyon Jensen Leigh Buffalo Plaid Shirt – $68 [Return]
Skies Are Blue Heathered Aztec Vest – $69.99 [Keep]
Kut From The Kloth Mia Skinny – $88 [Return]

Trendsend Outfit #2

Two KFTK jeans in one box = help! They feel like butter on me. Is that weird? I wanted to keep these so badly, but I literally just bought a pair of skinny jeans very similar to these the other day. But these are going on my Amazon wishlist.

Shut the front door. I never would have picked this vest for myself, let alone style it this way. But I am like “Where have you been all my life?”

The only word to describe this vest is “plush.” It is thick and fluffy and warm and hugs and mmmmmmmmm.

Peyton Jensen Leigh Buffalo Plaid Shirt

I’ve been looking for a red and black plaid shirt for a while and I thought this was it! But it was a size too big. Sad panda.

Outfit #3
Sanctuary Shell Tee – $34.99 [Keep]
Allison Joy Classic French Terry Blazer – $98 [Return]
Garnet Field Chunky Knit Infinity Scarf – $28 [Return]

Trendsend Outfit #3

This outfit is SO me. I’ve never owned anything terry, and it is soooo comfy. This blazer almost had me, but I couldn’t figure out what I didn’t like about it.

The lapel/pocket area just seems off to me. So I couldn’t justify spending $100 on it.

Still, it would be a great blazer for the fall season! The scarf is warm and cozy, but I have so many scarves right now that I have to be picky. I have a similar one, so I sent it back.

Sanctuary Shell Tee

I have ZERO red in my closet so I was excited to see this top. Then I felt the material and was even more excited. It is so soft! I think I need to get a red tank to wear under it, but that will be easy to find.

Overall, for being my very first Trendsend box, my stylist Lauren absolutely KILLED IT. I’ve never been so happy with a styling service. I hope the next one is just as stellar and that I have the same stylist. My wallet will hate me but I’m rebelling against it anyways.
