I received a free product in exchange for a review. All opinions expressed herein are my own.
Try The World is not your typical monthly subscription box. It allows you to try gourmet food from a different country that you can’t find in your local grocery store. It costs $39 per box, which you receive every 2 months. You can save up to 15% off by subscribing for 6 months or a year at a time. Your first box is the Paris, France box.
Here is everything I received in my Paris box:
Clement Faugier Chestnut Spread
Le Saunier de Camargue Fleur de Sel (sea salt)
Salted Butter Caramels from Brittany
Le Palais des Thes fine tea
Charles Antona Minna Organic Jam
Domaine Des Vignes Whole Grain Mustard
La Mere Poulard Sables
Because these items are foreign, it was a bit difficult to find prices online. I estimate the value of this box to be around $35. This is not the kind of box you buy if you are looking to get a lot of food at a discounted price. This is the kind of box you buy for the EXPERIENCE. Since you can’t really get these foods locally, it is a great way to experience a culture without having to travel! All of the items in my box were full size as well.
The Culture Guide that is included contains great information that will heighten your French experience, such as a music playlist, French movies, poetry, and more. Try The World is perfect for anyone looking to immerse themselves in a different culture, or anyone looking for a great date night! This box would be the perfect tool in helping two people have a little adventure while staying at home.
