I have been searching for a good laminating machine for a while. Official documents such as my birth certificate and social security card are kept in a safe place, but sometimes I need to reference them or provide copies. I made copies of these documents and laminated them using the Fellowes Callisto 125 Laminator so they would last a long time.
This laminator is designed for small office applications, which is perfect for the home. It features an advanced control system that allows instant changing of pouch and document thickness. Unique HeatGuard technology keeps heat inside so machine is cool to the touch. Offers four temperature settings. Includes a laminating starter kit. Maximum Document Size: 12 1/2″; Maximum Document Thickness: 3 to 5; Warm-Up Time: 5 minutes; Laminating Speed: 12″ per minute.
I love the HeatGuard technology. When I finish a project, I can quickly pick up the machine and move it out of the way, as it does take up a lot of desk space. There are so many uses for a laminator, including creating posters, invitations, and preserving documents. It’s even great for small classrooms. I have a teacher friend who would love this laminator. It retails for $177.91 on Shoplet.com. I highly recommend this laminator if you need a laminator for home use and don’t want to spend over $300 on the more expensive models.
