Harry Connick Jr. “That Would Be Me” Album Review

Harry Connick Jr. “That Would Be Me” Album Review

I participated in the That Would Be Me album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided an album to review but all opinions are my own.

I first heard of Harry Connick, Jr. as an actor. Little did I know he could sing! I came across some of his Frank Sinatra covers and fell in love. But he is one of those artists who has more than just one sound, proven by his new album “That Would Be Me.”

The album is comprised of 11 exhilarating new songs, infectious gems like “(I Like It When You) Smile,” with an impromptu-hand clap intro and Connick serving up a one-of-a-kind scat-rap-of-a-vocal that heats up mid-song and never lets down.

My favorite track is “(I Do) Like We Do.” It is catchy and has an attitude of its own. I can’t help but keep the rhythm when I listen to it.
