But, when you’re couped up inside and you need to distance yourself from others, how can you keep active and look after yourself?
Here are some tips for keeping active during the coronavirus outbreak.

One group of people that will be affected will be the elderly. In addition to the restrictions, they will be living under the fear of catching the virus and what it might do to them if they did.
If you have elderly relatives or neighbors, check in on them. Phone them to see if they need anything from the stores and have a chat with them. This will help them to deal with their isolation.
Help them out in practical ways. Research and help them apply for any aarp stimulus 2020 that they are eligible for.
Create a Schedule for Your Days
To help you to stay focused and to avoid becoming demotivated, set yourself a schedule. Every morning, create a list of things that you are going to do each day.
You will want to do something productive, something for your mental health, and something for your own physical wellbeing.
If you can keep to a regular routine as you might do if you were getting up and going for work or to school each day, then you will be more likely to be able to remain active.
Do the Jobs that You’ve Been Putting Off
If there are lots of things that you’ve been meaning to do around the house for a long time, now is the time to do them. Fix things that are broken and have a deep clean.
Use the time in a productive manner to get on top of life again.
This might be a good time to have a major declutter or to do some gardening.
Include Self-Care in Your Routine
Self-care means doing something for your physical and emotional wellbeing. This could be relaxation or exercise.
Try and do some form of exercise each day. If you are permitted, get outside and get your blood flowing.
Binge-watching your favorite TV shows can be good for your mental health, however, it is important to remember to do this in moderation as it can also be unhealthy. You may want to do this as a reward for being productive for several hours.
