Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops

After 15 years, Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops are back! Pine Bros. has been a trusted brand since 1870 and are made in America. Pine Bros. produces natural products and you can tell just from looking at the ingredients, which include gum acacia, corn syrup, and sunflower oil. Also listed under ingredients is “natural flavors.” You can buy them in bags or convenient, refillable pucks. These are great for carrying around in your purse.

I didn’t know what “softish” meant until I put one throat drop in my mouth. I started sucking on it and though “Oh! That’s softish!” Most throat drops, actually all, that I have tried before are hard like candy. These were softer like a gummy, but not exactly soft enough to chew. I’m one of those people who likes the crunch of hard candy or throat drops and will bite them as soon as they are small enough. Not being able to bite these throat drops made them last longer and work more effectively.

I tried both the Wild Cherry and Natural Honey flavors. They also have Lemon Citrus and Licorice. I definitely noticed the “natural flavors” I saw listed in the ingredients. Other brands that don’t use natural flavors taste sugary and the flavor is very prominent. These flavors were a bit more subtle but still very good. I enjoyed the Wild Cherry flavor the best. The flavor lasted the whole time it was in my mouth. These throat drops are delicious! And they are only 5 calories each.

You can purchase Pine Bros. at CVS, Safeway, Harris Teeter, Walgreens.com, Shop Rite, and many other smaller locations.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
