Trendsend Review (December 2016)
Evereve Trendsend is a styling service for women, specifically geared towards moms. What makes them different than other styling services is that they put together a few outfits for you, instead of just sending you individual pieces. The clothes are so comfortable and cute! Trendsend only charges a $1 processing fee! Pay for the items you keep and send the rest back.
I had Chelsea style me this month for the second time. I love that she reads my blog posts to get to know me and pays attention to what I like and don’t like.
Outfit #1
Kut From The Kloth Lucca Plaid Tunic – $78 [Return]
Lysse Mara Legging – $78 [KEEP]
This plaid pattern is sooo cute! This casual outfit is right up my alley. I can’t help but feel like I’m wearing a bathrobe when I wear plaid tunics, but this one was short enough that I felt okay wearing it. I might have kept it had it been just a tad more fitted in the waist. But these leggings!
My stylist noted how I loved the black ones she sent in my last box, so she sent me the same ones in gray! Totally baited me. 😉 These leggings are thick and great quality, and sooo comfortable.
Outfit #2
7 For All Mankind Josefina Boyfriend – $219 [Return]
Three Dots Favorite Long Sleeve Scoop – $78 [Return]
Blank Private Practice Drape Front Jacket – $98 [KEEP]
Raj Thick Stitch Infinity Scarf – $58 [Return]
This jacket. I love the “leather” look on the arms and the drape front. I really was torn about keeping it, because I spent so much money on my last box. I kept almost everything! But fate happened. I forgot to put it in the bag to return it. Oops??
#sorrynotsorry
I love a good tee, long or short sleeve. This shirt was the bomb but I couldn’t justify the price tag this time. And check out the cool sleeves!
The scarf was just meh for me. I have soooo many scarves, so I have to absolutely love a scarf to keep it.
Now about these jeans…$219?! I almost fell over. I didn’t even want to try them on. I was afraid they would feel like butter on me and I would never be able to part with them. Luckily, my stylist sized down because of the style, and they didn’t fit. Although, I don’t have any ripped jeans, and I kinda dig the look. Maybe next time.
Outfit #3
Allison Joy V Back Sweater Tunic – $78 [Return]
Harriet Isles Statement Fringe Necklace – $42 [Return]
I have been obsessed with black sweaters lately. What the heck. 5 years ago I was all about the brown. Now I won’t touch it. Black is where it’s at. This sweater was cozy, but a little itchy. I wasn’t in love with it, so back it went.
I’m really trying to get into this v-back trend, but I’m just self-conscious about showing skin. Like any skin.
I think this fringe necklace could be fun if styled the right way. It is pretty long. Just not my style.
I was really happy with what I kept this time, and tried not to spend too much money. It’s so hard! lol What did you think?
I always look forward to getting new outfits to try on every month. You can sign up for Trendsend HERE.
