Try The World Holiday Box: Michelin Edition Review
Try The World is a monthly food subscription box that allows you to try gourmet food from different countries. These are items that you don’t normally find in your local grocery store. It costs $39 per box, which you receive every 2 months. You can save up money by subscribing for 3, 6, or 12 months at a time. If you subscribe now, your first box will be this amazing Holiday Box! Other boxes I have received are Paris, Venice, Buenos Aires, Japan, and Thailand box. Every subscription comes with free shipping. BONUS: Sign up this month and get a FREE Italy box!
For this year’s holiday box, Try The World partnered with Michelin to create this box filled with 8 holiday foods from around the world.
The Try The World Holiday Box: Michelin Edition includes the following items:
Marlette Pain D’Epices Baking Mix (France)
Giuliano Tartufi Truffle Sauce (Italy)
En Luen Pineapple Cake (Taiwan)
Teatonics Tea (UK)
Darling Sweet Toffee (South Africa)
Nyakers Gingersnaps (Sweden)
Yoffi Date Spread (Israel)
Sprucewood Handmade Cookie Co. Shortbread (Canada)
Prices area always hard to determine, because not all the items are easily available to purchase in the US. I estimate this box to be worth over $60! I always say the real value in these boxes is being able to experience different cultures and foods without travelling or paying international shipping.
The pamphlet included in the box give a lot of information about each item and how you might prepare it. I learned something new today. I thought Michelin just made tires. Actually, they have been promoting restaurants for years with their Michelin Guides!
