Ok, that was a little overboard. I can’t help it, I love my birthday. Like, a LOT. As in, celebrate all month. Yeah, I’m THAT person. Saturday is the big day and I turn 32. Or as I like to say, it’s the 11th anniversary of my 21st birthday. I love all the birthday freebies and surprises. I usually like to be in control, but my birthday is one of the few times I let fate take over and just roll with it. That’s why, for this fix, I asked my stylist to surprise me! And boy, did Sonia deliver! She has only styled me a few times, but it’s like she KNOWS me.

Ok, let’s dive in! Admittedly, I peek at my fix when it ships, and I was very excited for it to arrive!

I’m a sucker for a comfy sweater, especially when it has been so cold here in Denver. I realized a while ago that I can’t stop adding black to my closet! I used to be a brown girl, but now I prefer black. This sweater was just a tad longer in back than it is in front, which was perfect for covering the bootay. Sonia suggested that I pair it with a studded purse that I kept from a previous fix to add a pop of color. She’s so smart. I never would have thought of that, and this is why I have a stylist.

The moto leggings are amazing. I thought I had enough leggings, as I really don’t need more than two. Apparently adding detail to leggings makes them SO much different, that I HAD to keep these! I swear it’s my last pair!

The booties were perfect for these leggings, but they were a little snug on my feet. That surprised me, as the reason I love Diba boots is they usually fit my wide feet. If I size up, they would be too long, so sadly I sent these back. I am still on the hunt for black booties.

Sonia did a great job sending me this navy blouse with beautiful v-neck detail. Unfortunately, it was too tight in the arms. Darn my flabby arms. I didn’t want to exchange it for a larger size (which you can do now at checkout), because then it would be too big everywhere else.

But this skirt is everything! I have had it pinned on my Pinterest style board for what seems like an eternity, and I finally received it! And it’s purple!
