Weight Loss Journal - Week 3

I am now on week 3 of my weight loss challenge. My goal for the second week was to meal plan to avoid eating out while I travel. Epic fail. I decided that I had to meal plan too close to the time I had to leave on my trip, and I had other things going that I did not have time to go to the grocery store. Monday I ate dinner from a fast food place because I did not have any food in my fridge. On Tuesday my office had an incredible time at a Rockies game in a box suite loaded with food. I overate that night. On Wednesday I ate at the airport before my flight because I was running late and didn’t eat breakfast. The rest of the week went similarly, and only I can take the blame.  I should have planned farther in advance. I gained a pound this week, which is actually less than what I feel I gained. I was sick from eating so much on Tuesday! (gross)

One of my huge weaknesses is chocolate in the office. I work in a fast-paced environment and I find myself taking many chocolate breaks throughout the day. It’s almost involuntary at this point. I need to be more aware of how much candy I am eating.

Week 3 Challenge – Limit my daily chocolate intake at the office to 2 pieces.

Week 1 (Starting) Weight – 191.2 lbs.
Week 2 Weight – 188.4 lbs
Week 3 Weight – 189.4 lbs

Total Weight Loss – 1.8 lbs
