Spring Outfit Must Haves

Spring Outfit Must Haves

I am so used to it snowing in May in Denver that it was hard for me to pack up my sweaters last week. But I needed room in my closet for all my spring and summer clothes. Yay! The weather here in Albuquerque is a lot like Denver, except without the spring snowstorms. I decided to style some spring outfits to officially mark the end of winter.

Outfit #1

Yours Truly Bomber Jacket | Umgee Floral Print Keyhole Shirt [from Wantable Style Edit] | Kut From the Kloth Skinny Jeans | Mix No. 6 Danzey Leopard Print Ballet Flats [similar here] | Lariat Necklace [similar here]

Spring is the time to make a statement by mixing bold patterns, like floral and leopard print. This lightweight shirt is so comfy, but I always get cold, so I added a black bomber jacket with some great detailing on the sleeves.

And I hardly go anywhere without my favorite ballet flats! I’d say I subconsciously made the switch from heels to flats a few years ago. My feet just can’t take it anymore! These flats are so comfortable and really go with any outfit. I have them in 4 different colors.

Outfit #2

Kyla Button Down Blouse | Rune Moto Leggings | Mix No. 6 Cheraven Flats [similar here] | Nanette Lepore Rose Gold Watch [similar here] | Luv AJ Diamond Kite Crawler Earrings

I’m usually against leggings as pants, but that’s because most women I see wearing leggings are wearing the wrong kind. If I can see skin when they stretch, I can see too much. These Rune leggings are thick and I love the moto detail. This shirt from Tobi.com is lightweight and breathes great. I also love that the buttons don’t create that awkward gap at the chest.

Outfit #3

Roselyn Tie Dye Wrap Maxi Dress | Carlos Santana Malor Wedges [other colors here] | D&Y Floppy Hat [similar here] | Opal Leather Choker [similar ] | Kate Spade Mini Stud Earrings | Floral Watch [similar here]

I am going to California in two weeks and this is the perfect outfit for a day at the pool or a shopping excursion. What I love about this wrap dress is that it is not a true “wrap.” The waist is elastic and it is all one piece so there is no chance of the dress coming undone.

What are your go-to spring outfits?
