Wantable Style Edit (March 2017)
If you haven’t noticed by now, I am addicted to styling services. Stitch Fix, Trendsend, and now Wantable Style. They allow me to try clothes I normally wouldn’t pick out for myself and discover new brands that I have come to love.

What is Wantable Style Edit?
The Style Edit is a personal styling service from Wantable that allows you to try designer apparel and accessories before you buy. This means you get to try on 5-7 handpicked items in the comfort of your own home before paying for them. Item prices are based on your personal preferences but usually range from $50-$100 each.
Each month you pay $20 for the styling fee and then the fee gets credited toward any items you keep. If you keep 5 or more items, you get to take an additional 20% off the total cost!
This month I was styled by Sophie who included versatile pieces for me to try out, keeping in mind that I just moved to Albuquerque. She kept my preferences in mind when choosing the items, so lets see what I got!
Jack Nutmeg Lace Up Shirt – $65 [Return]
While I love the pirate vibe of this lace up black shirt, it was too small in the arms, which is a common problem for me.
Umgee Floral Print Keyhole Shirt – $39 [Keep]
Madison & Lola Marissa Vest – $39 [Keep]
I think I just found my new favorite outfit. I paired the shirt and vest with my black skinny jeans that I found super cheap at Ross [similar here] and my Mossimo boots [similar here and here].
The shirt is very flowy and I don’t think I would wear it alone. The vest is the perfect accent for it. And the prices are great!
Hudson Nico Midrise Raw Hem Destructured Jeans – $195 [Return]
These jeans were not really my style and they didn’t fit, so I returned them. The raw hem look seems to be in style right now but I don’t like it. Even if I did, I don’t think I can justify spending $200 on a pair of jeans! I really do want a pair of torn up jeans though, and hope I find some soon!
Native Outsiders Brigitte Tunic – $28 [Keep]
I wore this shirt with the same jeans and boots mentioned before, and added my BlankNYC leather drape jacket [similar here].
I really love the color and the length of this shirt. It’s a keeper!
RD Style Keyhole Front Dress – $59 [KEEP]
Cupcakes and Cashmere Jacquard Poncho – $140 [Return]
Oh hey there you sexy dress. I love that dress can be sexy and still cover most of my body. Definitely a keeper.
This poncho is definitely New Mexico style, but it was too large. The great thing about ponchos is that you get to size down. 🙂 I’m not sure I would have spent $140 on it, but I could tell it was high quality.
Here is the total breakdown of cost for my March Style Edit:
I was just shy of getting a discount, but I am happy with the pieces I kept. If you don’t have to time to go shopping or aren’t sure what your style is, this might be something you want to invest in. Even if you only find one item you like, it is worth it. And you are welcome to skip any month without cancelling.
