Stitch Fix #4 Review – June 2015
What is Stitch Fix? It’s pretty simple. Stitch Fix is a monthly subscription styling service. It costs $20 per box, which covers the styling fee. You try on the clothes, keep the ones you like, return the ones you don’t. Pay for the items you keep and the $20 styling fee gets applied to that cost. Easy, right?! You can sign up here.
Woo patterns and colors! This might be my favorite part of opening the box.
Your Stitch Fix stylist includes a styling card to show how you can wear each item, and a personalized note just for you.
I loved my last Stitch Fix so much that I requested the same stylist, Brookelyn, and asked her to hook me up with pieces I could wear to the many country concerts I’m going to this summer. I just saw Luke Bryan at Mile High and it was an amazing concert! I have at least 6 more concerts that I will be attending so I was really looking forward to this box. Boy, did Brookelyn ever deliver! This is only my 4th Stitch Fix and I kept EVERYTHING! I was wondering when it would happen and this was it.
41Hawthorn Dita Sleeveless Ponte Dress – $68 [Keep]
I am obsessed with this dress. Navy is my go-to color and I love that it cinches my waist in exactly the right spot. It is a little bit thicker material, so I can wear this into the fall season. I prefer thicker material even in summer because I hate dealing with see-through fabric. All I can think right now is that I can’t wait until my next concert so I can pair this with my white jean jacket and some boots!
My favorite parts are the details on the sleeves and waist. Plain but pretty. I can even wear this dress to work. Very versatile!
Fun2Fun Binder Tie Neck Top – $48 [Keep]
This is exactly the kind of shirt I had in mind when I asked for a “country” style. The lacy detail over the pink pattern is perfect! It is just a little bit flowy and fits perfectly.
Skies are Blue Manna Tie Front Knit Top – $48 [Keep]
Another navy piece so automatically I’m liking it. This is long enough that when I tie the knot (literally), my midriff doesn’t show. Which I would never, ever want to do, unless I was wearing a bathing suit. I would actually wear this any day of summer, not just for concerts.
Market & Spruce Maeby Dres – $58 [Keep]
I’m always surprised when I keep a piece that has what I consider to be a crazy pattern, but it helps when it has colors that I love. This dress is soooo comfy. I put a brown belt on with it and it looked fantastic!
Bay to Baubles Kalea Double Bar Necklace – $28 [Keep]
I am still undecided about this necklace, but because of the 25% discount if you keep all five items, it was cheaper for me to keep it. I do like that it appears double-sided. One side looks like pounded metal and the other looks like scratched metal.
*NOTE: If your stylist cannot send you this exact necklace, you can find similar ones HERE.
Other side:
So there it is, my first box where I kept everything. I’m looking forward to having the most amazing and stylish summer yet!
