Stitch Fix #17 Review + A $20 Gift Card Giveaway
If you are not familiar with Stitch Fix, I strongly urge you to give it a try and check out my last Fix! It costs $20 per box, which covers the styling fee. You try on the clothes, keep the ones you like, return the ones you don’t. Pay for the items you keep and the $20 styling fee gets applied to that cost. Get 25% off if you buy all five items. Easy, right?! You can sign up here.
For this fix, I can’t for the life of me remember what I wrote to my stylist. I don’t remember what I requested! I probably asked for prints, based on what I received in this Fix.
Daniel Rainn Tolley Mixed Print Top – $68 [RETURN]
This shirt is very similar to a shirt I kept from a previous fix, as my stylist, Emily, noted. That last shirt I decided was not for me after keeping it. I wish there was an option to update what items you kept, since sometimes 3 days is not enough to decide if I really love something or if I will wear it.
Papermoon Bellini Kimono – $38 [RETURN]
Kimonos are a clothing item that are great in theory, but just don’t work out for me. I end up looking like I’m drowning. Which is sad, because I love the price on this piece. They are so lightweight and perfect for a hot day when you still want coverage.
I do have to say that I absolutely love the colors and think this kimono is so beautiful! That made it hard to return it. But ultimately, if an item doesn’t fit me right, I know I won’t wear it. You can see here how it is not flat in the back and sticks out.
I probably should have kept this just to save my $20 styling fee. Oh well.
Pixley Eileen Honeycomb Texture Knit Tank – $54 [RETURN]
Before I even looked at the name of this shirt, I tried it on and thought “I look like a honeycomb!” lol No, thanks. However, this material is to die for. SO SOFT! And it is longer in the back, which is my favorite. And it is navy, which is my other favorite. But I can’t get over this busy pattern.
Papermoon Jehna Woven Back Knit Top – $44 [RETURN]
I love the back of this shirt! Very bright colors for spring/summer. But the wrong of this shirt looks a plain white t-shirt. I think if it was yellow or another color, it would pop. But I wasn’t sure what to do with the front of the shirt. I guess a fun necklace could help. I can’t wear a colored cardigan over it because that would hide the back of it.
Gilli Shay Maxi Dress – $78 [RETURN]
I was really excited to receive a maxi dress to try on! First, this top is perfect. It has sleeves, it is comfortable, and no cleavage. Win win win! It’s the bottom part that had me hemming and hawing over whether I wanted to keep this or not. I think if the top part was a little bit longer it would have looked better in my mind. I wasn’t 100% in love with the pattern either, although I do love the colors!
So that was my fix! What did you think?

My favorite piece is the maxi dress but I agree with you that I probably couldn't justify paying that much for it!
